This clock is unique in its size and design.
Spring-wound - wound with a key, runs for 3-4 days.
Silent operation without striking.
The dial and the entire body of the clock are made of silver-plated brass.
The base is richly decorated with chiseled perforation.
The unusual columns (Balustráda) are made of bone.
The clock is signed - František (Franz) Bibus founded his workshop in Moravská Třebová in 1883. He originally started as a silversmith, but the company quickly grew into a factory for luxury metal goods (Alois Bibus & Sohn). They were court suppliers for Vienna and their quality was comparable to the famous Viennese workshops.
