Quarter strike - 1/4 - strikes every 15 minutes.
Enamel dial in a brass chiseled frame.
Alabaster columns.
Ornaments - mother-of-pearl and polychrome - Corinthian capitals and other gold elements - all gilded with gold leaf.
The whole creates the impression of an architectural altar or temple, with the most striking decorative element being a miniature hand painting located in the upper part of the clock.
