We present to you an iconic pair of Bauhaus-style armchairs from Czechoslovakia, dating to the first half of the 20th century. This design is attributed to the architect Anton Lorenz and was manufactured by the renowned company Mücke - Melder.

The frame of the chairs is crafted from elegant tubular chrome-plated steel, which has been professionally cleaned and polished. A characteristic luxurious detail is the armrests made of solid beech wood, which are coated with a black piano lacquer and feature a polished surface to a high sheen.

The chairs have undergone restoration and feature new upholstery in a beautiful period fabric. This combination of chrome, glossy black wood, and period fabric makes these armchairs a timeless, collectors, and highly comfortable element of Czechoslovak Functionalism.
