This stool is a refined accessory from the production of the Czechoslovak Krasna jizba from the 1930s. It represents the late Art Deco aesthetic, which, in the hands of this famous institution, emphasized top craftsmanship and modern, functional design. Krasna jizba was a key promoter of cultivated living in the interwar period. This stool proves that even a small piece of furniture can carry high artistic value.

The item underwent a complete restoration. The stable solid oak construction was treated, and the original wood polish was sensitively refreshed, highlighting the natural grain of the solid oak. The stool was newly and professionally upholstered according to the original design. Thanks to its strength and timeless look, it can serve as a standalone element in a hallway or bedroom, or as a stylish footstool for a favorite armchair.
