We present to you an iconic pair of Bauhaus-style armchairs from Czechoslovakia dating to the 1930s. This design is attributed to the architect Ladislav Žák and was manufactured by Hynek Gottwald. The armchairs perfectly embody the elegance of Czechoslovak Functionalism.
The frame of the chairs is crafted from elegant tubular chrome-plated steel, which has been professionally cleaned and polished. A characteristic detail is the armrests made of solid beech wood, which are coated with a black piano lacquer and polished to a high sheen, giving the chairs a luxurious appearance.
The chairs have undergone restoration and feature new, professional upholstery made of genuine, very high-quality Italian leather in a dark grey color. This combination of chrome, glossy black wood, and quality leather makes these chairs a timeless and highly comfortable element for any modern interior.
